Andy Lapides, LCSW, BCD, is a licensed clinical social worker and board certified psychotherapist in private practice in Morristown, New Jersey, where he provides outpatient psychological care, including individual, couples, and group therapy. He works with a variety of patients from diverse cultural backgrounds, from preteens to older adults.
Andy trained in gestalt therapy at the Gestalt Center for Psychotherapy & Training in New York City from 2005 to 2008. He continued his studies in psychotherapy at the Academy of Clinical & Applied Psychoanalysis from 2009 to 2012 and The Center for Group Studies from 2013 to 2016. Andy has also trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, imago therapy, and trauma-informed therapies.
Andy treats patients with a wide variety of life challenges and backgrounds. Mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, trauma, as well as adult survivors of abuse, marital/relationship problems, etc.
